Blueprint was engaged by Anthology Senior Living, the Senior Living arm of global developer CA Ventures, and their institutional joint venture partners to maximize value on the sale of their Class A, 103-unit Assisted Living and Memory Care community in the Salt Lake City MSA
Situated on a prime site in the highly desirable South Jordan submarket, the community opened in early 2018 offering high-end design and finishes, top of the line amenities, and outdoor common areas on multiple floors to maximize resident engagement (and the scenic views)
The partnership decided to pursue a strategic sale of the community given the lack of market scale or proximity to other Anthology communities
Given the nuanced market, Blueprint’s marketing process focused on operators with either an existing market presence or a significant regional footprint around Utah they could leverage to stabilizing the community. This approach led to a deep and diverse bidder group representing the full spectrum of local, regional, and national operators and capital partners
Ultimately Stellar Senior Living, in partnership with a well-respected, national Private Equity investor, emerged as the winning bidder and successfully closed the transaction through a period of capital markets and operational volatility
