The regional healthcare campus consisted of over 200 total bed/units, and was made up of independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and long-term acute care hospital beds. The campus was built in stages over time and sprawled across 30 acres just outside of Toledo. The success of the transaction was rooted in Blueprint’s ability to showcase the abundant revenue upside for the higher acuity care types. The seller was an entrepreneurial, second generation owner who, over the past 30 years at the helm, led the successful expansion of the campus. The buyer was a New York-based acute care operator who looked to expand its footprint into the Midwest through this strategic acquisition.
Connor Doherty, Jacob Gehl, and Brian Payant were the lead advisors on the transaction.
