Blueprint handles campus trade between non-profits in America's heartland
Located on 20+ acres in Perry, Iowa approximately 40 minutes northwest of Des Moines, the original Rowley Masonic Community was built in the late 1950s with eight independent living cottages added in the 1980s. In January 2014, the organization began constructing a 72,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art addition featuring 16 assisted living units and 57 skilled nursing and transitional care beds.
The Board of Directors engaged Health Dimensions Group in 2018 to help stabilize operations after several years of instability and to work with the Board to determine the optimal future strategic direction for the community.
As the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic reached the region, the Board obtained lender approval to engage Blueprint to run a confidential sale and marketing process. Sourcing multiple competitive offers from in-state and out-of-state acquirer prospects, Blueprint structured a mutually beneficial sale to another local non-profit provider, Perry Lutheran Homes.
Established in the Perry community for over 64 years, Perry Lutheran Homes’ acquisition expands its local presence to three well-appointed senior living and healthcare campuses.
