Blueprint conducted a confidential marketing process on behalf of the ownership group looking to exit the seniors housing space. Originally built in 2003, the community underwent three expansions between the years 2008 and 2015 to keep up with the demand of the local market. Consisting of 55 independent living and 44 assisted living units, the sale also included a contiguous parcel of land for future development.
Blueprint’s Brooks Blackmon, a Montgomery native, worked closely with the sellers to understand their desire for the future of the community. Due to Blackmon’s connection to the seller and understanding of the local market, Blueprint was able to convey Oak Grove Inn’s historically strong operating performance and reputation as the best seniors housing provider in the region to the buyer community. The ultimate buyer was an affiliate of Bridge Investment Group (“Bridge”). Bridge will engage Greenbrier Senior Living to manage the community.
Brooks Blackmon was the lead advisor on this transaction.
