A privately held REIT focused primarily on private pay seniors housing communities throughout the U.S., selected Blueprint to advise and oversee the confidential sale of its independent living community in West Bloomfield, Michigan.
Located in the heart of this affluent Metro Detroit suburb, the 84-unit building was constructed in 2001 with significant renovations starting in 2015. The community also offered assisted living care services and respite stays.

Showcasing the attractive location and operational upside through occupancy improvement and rental rate optimization, Blueprint's thorough process resulted in a compelling acquisition offer from a local home health care provider, marking its first senior living community acquisition pursuit and advancing its strategic mission of providing quality care and senior living services in southeast Michigan.

Once the buyer secured acquisition financing from a local lender, Blueprint worked hand-in-hand with the seller and incoming buyer to ensure timely and direct communication throughout the creatively structured transaction process, culminating in the successful real estate closing.
