As an active advisor to a public REIT, Blueprint identified the now-vacant property and recognized ownership’s interest in selling. Leveraging our strong relationships in the Highland Park community, we introduced the seller to CCHI and facilitated a direct sale—helping bring new life to the property with a mission-driven purpose. The transition was further supported by Highland Park friends and partners, including Michael Weiss and HODC, who played a key role in the process.

Founded in 2019, CCHI is committed to promoting inclusive community living for people with disabilities. The organization creates spaces where individuals can live, work, and socialize together, fostering independence and connection. Since its inception, CCHI has been searching for the right location to develop a welcoming and sustainable living environment for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

With this acquisition, CCHI will transform the former senior housing community into a 45- to 50-unit apartment-style co-living space. This thoughtfully designed community will provide residents with opportunities for independent living, social engagement, and recreational and educational activities—all while fostering meaningful relationships.
