Located in and around the Kansas City metro area, the 400+ bed portfolio was developed by a Missouri-based family office in the late 1990s and operated by its wholly owned management company, Capital Health Management.
After 25 years of operating as a ‘mom and pop’, the management company decided that the business would be better suited in the hands of a regional operator, leading ownership to select Blueprint to confidentially approach the market and advise on strategic options for exiting management.

Blueprint presented multiple sale and lease proposals, and ultimately, an East Coast-based investor and its partner with a growing operating platform in Missouri were chosen as the buyer.

During the sale process, the seller’s management company was hyper-focused on census improvement and the facilities benefitted from the statewide Medicaid rate increase. Blueprint worked alongside the seller and management company to successfully complete the transition and close the transaction as scheduled.
