Blueprint marketed the opportunity on behalf of a private ownership group, highlighting it as a unique opportunity to acquire a 100% private pay community with a well-maintained physical plant and limited local competition.
Blueprint successfully made the case for the community’s value for an incoming investor by emphasizing operational improvement upside and the ability to push rates in a growing and relatively non-competitive market.
The process resulted in a privately held owner-operator based in California being selected as the buyer.
Blueprint was heavily engaged throughout the sale and closing process, facilitating due diligence and assisting the seller in negotiation of deal terms leading to another successful close despite mounting challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
