Blueprint conducted the transaction on behalf of a non-profit healthcare organization that serves Virginia and North Carolina. The portfolio consisted of assets deemed non-core by the seller and Blueprint’s primary focus was to identify a trusted operator with strong market knowledge that could act as a reliable partner for the seller’s hospital discharges in the area.
The facilities, all constructed in the late 1980s, are located within an approximate hour drive of one another, making the offering well positioned for inclusion into a regional operator’s portfolio. Blueprint positioned the value-add offering to owners and operators familiar with the region that could represent a dependable partner to the seller.
The process resulted in eight highly competitive offers with Blueprint ultimately selecting a well known and respected regional operator with an established capital relationship. Blueprint worked closely with all parties throughout the closing process to maximize transaction certainty and ensure a smooth transition.
